Ally's First Credit Card
Problem
Ally decided to launch its first credit card. My team was tasked to produce features including marketing and education on storefront pages, an interactive bonus calculator and integration with third party servicers for sign up application and bonus cash management.
Solution
We created solutions for the various steps of the credit card process, including marketing integration, online application, informational product pages, FAQ’s, account servicing platforms which incorporated bonus cash management.
ROLE
I was the IA on this project that spanned over 8 months to completion. I interacted with product owners, content strategists, visual designers, marketing teams, external partners, mobile and web development teams and backend development teams. Our biggest hurdles included working with our third party partners to make a seamless experience between more than 4 different platforms in the credit lifecycle. I worked heavily on a credit card bonus cash calculator which allowed potential customers to estimate how much they could save by using our calculator and how that compared to similar products. All of our decision stemmed from internal user research & testing of our customer base and what they expected from a credit card.
