EPRI sector programs needed a tool for project managers to create detailed project information for proposed projects — enabling members and non-members to make informed purchasing decisions. The existing process was fragmented and stored no structured data.
Solution
Built an admin tool for project managers to enter comprehensive project info. Data validated against an approved schema, stored in XML database, distributed to multiple formats including HTML views and automated PDF sales sheets. The PDF automation was a bonus deliverable that eliminated a previously manual process.
Role
Triple hat — IA, Project Manager, and Business Analyst. Gathered requirements, mapped system capabilities, created process flows and wireframes, built Axure prototype, communicated with executives and tested with members.
