Problem
Integrating Ally Invest into the Ally authenticated ecosystem required a unified navigation system for users with two very different mindsets — banking vs. investing — across desktop, mobile web, and native app. The existing Invest navigation was built in isolation from Ally Bank's structure.
Solution
Conducted full content inventory and competitive analysis of navigation patterns across leading financial platforms. Designed unified navigation architecture and produced annotated screen-level designs across all major views and account types. Worked directly with engineering to ensure technical feasibility.
